Are you a SQL Server DBA or Data systems Analyst and looking for a new exciting opportunity at a company where you can balance lifestyle and career progression?

Our market leading e-commerce client, based in a stunning period building with fantastic views and within easy commute of both Bristol & Bath are looking for a new team member who will play a key role in increasing the adoption of cloud based services and introducing a range of new digital services to the business and clients.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for providing in depth technical support for the IT Services department, with particular emphasis on databases, web services and backups. The team plays a central role in designing new services into their existing environment, ensuring these services are compliant with their own standards as well as established industry best practice. They are also instrumental in providing the necessary level of expertise to assist with service integration, ensuring these are appropriate and optimised.

You will need in depth technical knowledge and experience of all versions of Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and backup systems such as IBM Spectrum Protect. You will ideally have the MCSE: Data Management and Analytics certification, however, you will be trained in this which will be paid by the company if you don't already have it. Any knowledge of door access control systems would also be an advantage. You should have good working knowledge of underlying technologies such as Windows Server and Active Directory. Experience with scripting languages would be advantageous.

As part of the role you will be required to provide expert advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders within the IT Services department. It is therefore essential that you have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience of working in an ITIL environment would be beneficial.
