Senior/Lead Test Analyst

Based in Bristol

Our client are now looking to increase their team and are recruiting for a number of senior and lead test analysts. These roles will suit a passionate technologist who is constantly seeking out improvement and keeps abreast of emerging tech - as oppose to making do or staying put with existing tech! If you are feeling restricted in your current position and live and breathe software testing then this is certainly the place for you.

Whilst software solution and product is key, due to the nature of the business, your work will be varied and you'll get a good range of blue-chip global clients to work with and will have superb opportunities to work on a range of new and emerging technologies.

You will be comfortable in speaking directly to the end client so will have excellent communication skills.

Following an Agile approach with solid development practices, you'll work in close collaboration with a team of software developers and will have had some experience in mentoring more junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for, as well as demonstrable experience in, testing software
  • You will be able to quickly adapt and learn new technologies on the job
  • Knowledge of one or more of Java, C#.NET, JavaScript, JUnit, TestNG, HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Experience with end-to-end test automation, eg. Selenium, Jasmine, Protractor
  • Experience of Continuous Integration systems
  • Exposure to the full software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience of context-driven testing principles
